Press on Drone:

Drone is a real pageturner with thrilling action, sound characterization and conspiracy theories that turn out to be less bad than the truth. ***** - De Telegraaf

A thriller that has what it takes to become one of the best of 2016: action, excitement, espionage, intrigue, and all of it in an excellent plot with well-explored characters. With Drone Kazemier has at a stroke made a place for himself among the Netherlands' best thriller authors. ***** - De Thriller

Kazemier hits the bull’s eye with Drone. Pace, in-depth characters, but above all believably written and described. The plot reads like that of a veteran and has a beautiful, unexpected final sentence. **** Vrij Nederland Detective & Thrillergids

Kazemier writes about politics and decision making with hyperrealism, almost as an insider. Using sharp, short sentences, Kazemier sketches how unknowing civilians choose politicians who for their part often know too little about the matters they must decide on. His characters are a bit cold and sketchy, but the pace and exciting chase scenes make up for it. Ex-defence minister Hans Hillen didn’t say this for nothing about Drone: “We’re lucky that it’s fiction.'' - Elsevier
