Gie Bogaert (b.1958) is a novelist, a teacher of Dutch and English, and a lecturer on prose at the Writers’ Academy. He has written columns for Radio 1, Radio Klara and the magazine Kunst & Cultuur. He has garnered praise for books including What Harm Do Magicians Do? (1990, NCR Nomination), The Love Collector (1998), Sky Faces (2010, Literature Prize of the Antwerp Province) and recently Noora’s Mistake (2013).
